About the Bride and Groom

Eugene grew up in in Hacienda Heights, CA a suburb outside of Los Angeles and has been living in the San Francisco Bay area (Mountain View, CA) for the past 5 years and has been working in the software/Internet industry. Eugene graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and has an MBA from the University of Maryland. Recently, Eugene moved to Houston, TX to take a sales position with Microsoft.

Amy grew up in a small farming community in Holtville, CA (population 4,000) near El Centro in the Imperial Valley, 2 hours east of San Diego. The farmer's daughter moved to the big city, Los Angeles, for college and has stayed ever since. She has been working for Pfizer in Pharmaceutical Sales and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from USC.

Please don't ask us which college we root for. You will definitely get 2 different answers.    

How we met: Amy currently goes to a church that Eugene used to attend. Her bible study leader originally was Todd Stanton, a good friend of Eugene's. Todd really didn't introduce us but we happened to meet at a party that he and his wife were hosting. Amy was in the Bay area for 3 weeks of sales training and asked Eugene to show her around San Francisco. They enjoyed each other's conversation and kept in touch. Later, they were flying between cities to see each other. Two years later, we are now planning a wedding together.
