Things to Do

The ceremony and reception site are north of Los Angeles in the Santa Clarita Valley, home to Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA off the 5 Freeway. Enjoy some of the finer attractions while you are in the area. If you happen to stay an extra day or come early, there are plenty of things to see and do.

For nearby shopping, dining and entertainment, visit the Valencia Town Center, which has over 150 retail shops, food court and many restaurants. Stroll down Town Center Drive for more great shopping. This main street is distinguished by its Entertainment Plaza that is anchored by Borders Books and Edwards Grand Palace Theaters. You'll also find highly desirable restaurants including: BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse, Cafe Melisse, Salt Creek Grille, Rio Lobo Cantina, Maru Sushi, Vie De France, The Vines at the Hyatt, Johnny Rockets and Poquito Mas.

Directions to Town Center

Outside of the Santa Clarita Valley: A half-hour drive south of Santa Clarita is the city of Santa Monica (5 Fwy S, 405 Fwy S, 10 Fwy W), a thirty minute drive southeast (5 Fwy S to 101 Fwy S) is Universal City where Universal Studios and City Walk are located. And a forty minute drive southeast is Pasadena.  Shop or Dine in Pasadena. There are plenty of great shops and restaurants in Old Town Pasadena on Colorado Blvd (5 Fwy S to 210 Fwy S, exit Fair Oaks).
