On our last day in Pt Douglas, we went to the open air market and bought some real coral
from the South Seas and a couple candles that had seashells embedded within them. We have
been collecting seashells from different parts of the world to include in one of the rooms in our
house. On our way back south to Cairns, we stopped on the way where we could take a
skyrail over the rainforest to a remote town on the hill.

The town caters primarily to tourists and we're told that we had to try the homemade ice cream
especially the raisin and rum ice cream that had real rum. The ice cream shop was a cart at the
end of town and the gentleman was about to close up for the day. He warned us not to drive
if we had the rum and raisin so naturally we had to try it. After returning back on the skyrail to go
down the mountain, there were a couple stops that we could get out and walk through the
rainforest.
