We stayed in Cairns the night before our morning flight to Sydney. We had all day to tour Sydney.
The city is overwhelming since there were so many things to do. We first checked in to our hotel
downtown which had a breathtaking view of the Sydney Opera House. Water everywhere
surrounds the city making for some breathtaking locations to see. We took a tour bus around the
city and did some shopping. We decided we need to come back and explore the city in greater
detail. Our journey to Australia was fast coming to an end.

On our last night, we ate at a restaurant with an amazing birds eye view of the Opera House.
At 8pm, we were the only ones eating. By the time we finished, people started arriving. Back in
Los Angeles, Amy had to wrap up her job, so we ended up staying at the Beverly Hilton while
Eugene worked out of his company's Santa Monica office. On the weekend, we had both parents
there, Eugene's sister and Amy's friends, Jenn & Robert. There we opened up our wedding gifts
which was like Christmas in April. This was a fun ending and the start of a new beginning as we
said our final goodbyes and begin our new lives together in Texas.
